  • 5th Female Trekking Guide Training starting from May 20

    Kathmandu, May 07: The Nepal Mountain Academy is taking applications for its 5th iteration of the Female Trekking Guide Training, which allows participants to receive the Trekking Guide License from the Tourism Ministry.

    The training program is set to start on May 20, and will take place over a course of 5 weeks. The program will have 26 days of theoretical training and 9 days of practical field trip in a tourist region. Interested participants will have to be selected for the program by interview, after which there is a charge of Rs. 5,000. The fooding and lodging charges for the field trip will have to be beared by the trainees separately.

    The deadline for the form submission is on May 16. The training requires a minimum academic qualification of SLC level, and at least 3 years’ experience in trekking. Interested participants can call 01-5151915 or 9851032688 for further information.
