  • Elephant found Elephant found dead

    Sep 24, 2017-An adult wild elephant was found dead at a community forest in Belaka Municipality-9, Udayapur, on Friday. According to Area Police Office, Rampurthoksila, the tusker’s carcass was found at Machhapuchhre Community Forest that abuts the Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve. Tusks and tail of the beast were stolen. Police said poachers might have killed the tusker for its parts.  (PR)

    Chitwan wild animals killed 144 persons in 14 years

    Sept 18,At least 144 persons have been killed by wild animals of Chitwan National Park in past 14 years, reports Nagarik anchor story.
