  • Altitude sickness kills trekking guide at Everest region

    A trekking guide died of altitude sickness at Solukhumbu on Tuesday night. Samir Natshering Rai, 20, of Sotang-8 Solukhumbu suffer from altitude sickness while returning from Everest Base Camp informed Eastern Region Police Office. Rai breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Namche-based hospital.

      Spanish climber Alex Txikon has arranged to summit Mt. Everest on 14th February without oxygen which is organized by Seven Summit Treks.
