    Feb 24: Sustained collection of resin from chir pine (pinus roxburghii) trees in Dadeldhura has put pine forests at risk of extinction. Resin extraction from pine forests going on in the district for the past 40 years has contributed to deforestation as well.     Feb 24, 2017: Police at beni have arrested three persons with contraband drugs from the district headquarters, Beni, Tuesday. The arrested are Ajay Senchuri, 18 and Raju Rana, 20, of Khaireni,-4, Rupandehi and Sonam Ghatane, 21, of Pokhara Sub Metropolis, police added.     Feb 24, 2017: An unidentified person was found death at Bhanu Chowk of Ratnanagar Municipality – 8, Chitwan on Thursday.
