    Free wifi service offered at Pokhara Airport

    Kathmandu, Sep 07: Pokhara Airport is now offering free wifi to travellers. The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal informed that the wifi service has been set up in collaboration with internet service provider Worldlink.  The facility came as the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Rabindra Adhikari, announced to offer free wifi in all airports of the country within a year.     Kathmandu,Sept 06:Kantipur reports in its lead story that per kilometre fare of taxi in Kathmandu Valley is more than the fare of an aeroplane. Lawmaker Bharat Kumar Shah during a meeting of the House of Representatives raised his concern over the high taxi fare, claiming people are being cheated by the cabbies.     Kathmandu airport closed as Yeti Airlines plane overshoots runway

    Kathmandu,Sept 02:The runway of Tribhuvan International Airport remained shut for some hours after a Yeti Airlines aircraft overshot the runway while landing at around 8:30 pm yesterday, according to newspaper reports. Five persons have sustained minor injuries in the accident, according to a snippet in Kantipur. The Himalayan Times informs that there were 21 passengers in the plane with call sign 9NAHW that came to Kathmandu from Nepalgunj. The plane’s landing gear was damaged in the crash, according to The Kathmandu Post.

    Oli, Modi to sign Raxual-Kathmandu railway agreement
