NRA launches post-quake grant agreement in districts with minimal impact

Pokhara, April 4: The National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) has launched the grant agreement process in the 17 districts incurring the least impact of the massive earthquake beginning from Kaski’s Annapurna Village Council on Monday.

Authority’s Chief Executive Officer, Prof Dr Govinda Pokharel, launched the grant agreement process by handing over a cheque and agreement paper to Bare BK, a local of the same village, amidst a programme.

Around 50 villagers from Lumle have received Rs 50,000 each as part of the first tranche of the grant assistance for the quake-stricken whereas 111 more villagers are in the pipeline to receive the grant. RSS
