Prime Minister promises qualitative change in Nepal’s education

Kathmandu, September 16

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has claimed his government will bring a qualitative change in the country’s education sector.

Inaugurating the seventh general assembly of the Fer-Western University at his official residence in Baluwatar as the University’s Chancellor, the Prime Minister also stressed result-oriented performance of government bodies as well as other institutions.

He said, “I do not look at people’s faces. What I am concerned about is results of their performance.”

In another context, Oli stated that the far-western region was full of potentials and stakeholders should invest their hard work for its development. He instructed the University officials to produce required human resources for the development of the region.

Meanwhile, the meeting formed two committees to investigate into controversies regarding its constituent colleges and financial transactions.
