  • Religious tourism main basis of development

    Mahendranagar (Dhanusha), April 24: Chief Minister of Province-2 Lalbabu Rawat has said that religious and tourism development was first priority of the government.
    While inaugurating the Ramayan Fair organized by Ramayan Circuit on the occasion of Janaki Nawami today, CM Rawat argued that religious development was the foundation for prosperity of the province therefore the government was committed to materializing it.
    He added that Ramayan Circuit linking Janakpur with Ayodhya would be extended to other places in India as well.
    CM Rawat also said that the government will initiate to enlist the Janaki Temple as a world heritage site.
    The Fair was jointly inaugurated by Province Chief Ratneshwar Lal Kayastha and Indian ambassador to Nepal Manjeev Singh Puri.
