Video conferencing would leak confidential information

Kathmandu,Aug 28 : The main opposition party Nepali Congress has objected to the use of a video conferencing technology to conduct the Cabinet meeting.

While in Singapore on a medical trip, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had participated in the Cabinet meeting through the video conferencing on Monday.

Speaking in the House of Representatives meeting on Tuesday, the opposition party’s chief whip Bal Krishna Khand said the conferencing would leak confidential information. He protested the government move of amending the meeting operational guideline to allow the video conferencing and demanded that the amendment be withdrawn.
